We have a lot of banks in our wood, and the one next to it. So far we have identified one as the parish boundary, and another dividing our wood from the next one. We also have 'lynchets', which are not banks and ditches, but sudden dips caused by ploughing the land making a series of terraces. We think they are probably bronze age. There are also a lot of unidentified banks and terraces which may have something to do with the coppice coupes.
