Directions

From Exeter take the A30 to Okehampton and follow signs to Hatherleigh on the A386. At Hatherleigh, follow signs to Holsworthy on the A3072. The wood is about 6 miles from Hatherleigh and about 2 miles beyond Highhampton. Look out for Narracott Farm on a left-hand bend. The wood is through the first gate on the right after the farm, just before the Woodlands For Sale sign. Park by the gate. Go over the gate and walk down the track to a small parking area. Blackley Wood is to the right of the line of posts which run from the parking area down to the stream which forms the northern boundary.
