You are here: Home > Buying a Wood > Devon > Hugginshayes wood
Hugginshayes Wood is an established plantation (1960) of Norway spruce, with other firs with sweet chestnut and beech stands. The wood is a haven for deer, with each visit I have been resulting in a viewing, as well as a fox on my last visit! There are plenty of signs of badgers also. As well as being a nature haven, the wood is set in a beautiful area of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within 20 miles of Lyme Bay. There is also the potential to thin out the wood, creating some useable timber.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: The boundaries are indicated in blue.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.

Travelling south on the A303 from Ilminster towards Honiton, pass the junction with the A30 and quarter of a mile after this turn left onto a minor road looking out for a yellow sign with a black triangle. Follow this road for around half a mile and turn left opposite Colystock Kitchens. You will see the entance gate to Honeyhill Wood on your left after a short distance, as well as a Woodlands for Sale sign. Park outside the gate. When entering the wood turn left and follow the track for around 120 metres until you see a Hugginshayes Wood sign to the right of the track.
