Set adjoining and overlooking the River Taw, Kingshill Wood is a glorious location set in the Heart of Devon. A wonderful oak woodland with holly and beech, the woodland floor is covered in wild daffodils and bluebells providing beautiful colour in the spring. Buzzards nest in the higher tree canopy and badgers frolic in the undergrowth. You can also enjoy the adjoining River Taw, famous from Henry Williamson's book 'Tarka the Otter', which is home to an internationally important population of otters as well as salmon. There is a right to park in the parking area as shown on the plan. Fishing rights are not included.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

From Barnstaple follow the A377 towards Crediton. About 3 miles after Portsmouth Arms railway station look out for a sign for Fortescue Cross, Newham, on a sharp right hand bend and Riverside garage on your left. Just after this take the right hand turn by the woodlands for sale sign onto a minor road . The woodland is on your right and parking is in the open area on your left or by the large building. From Crediton follow the A377 past Kings Nympton station, over the bridge and turn left by the 'Woodlands for Sale' sign to a minor road just after this.
