Nestling among some of the finest countryside in South Shropshire, on the edge of the Shropshire Hills, Wettles Wood has some fine conifers which are more than fifty years old. There is a good level area, which is ideal for camping, and the woodland also has views over open farmland. A small stream meanders through the woodland, there are many animals and birds, including badger, fox, buzzard hawk, raven and woodpecker. The woodland has good access and local amenities, with Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Bishop's Castle all within easy reach. The Plough Inn at Wistanstow (with its own brewery!) is in walking distance.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

Travel northwards on the A49 from Craven Arms (towards Church Stretton and Shrewsbury), and after ten or fifteen minutes drive you will reach Marshbrook. Here you should turn left onto the B4370, sign-posted to Bishop's Castle and Newtown, over the railway crossing beside the Station Inn, and drive for a few miles until you see our 'For Sale' board on your left. Immediately after our "fro sale" sign there is a turning on the left: park there and walk up the track into the woodland following the track round to the right and Wettles Wood is along the track
