Coed Cerrig Coch is a mixed woodland located near the village of Maentwrog. The woodland contains a mixture of both broadleaf trees and conifers. These consist mainly of larch and spruce but also include areas of sweet chestnut and an unusual small beech plantation. The woodland also contains a rich flora including a diversity of mosses and lichens. The top of the woodland is mostly sloping which provides some fine views across the valley. Towards the bottom of the woodland the ground is more level and there are some interesting old stone walls and the woodland has a more open feel.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
