Covering part of the valleyside above the River Wnion, the wood is warm and south facing with wonderful views between the trees over to Cadair Idris in the distance. It is semi-natural ancient woodland with lots of beech, birch, oak with ash, hazel and larch. In spring there is a wonderful show of bluebells with wild garlic in places. Other small woodland flowers including wood sorrel are also found. There are ample clear areas for parking by the small road and a right of way down the diagonal track to the lower parts of the wood.
The wood is leasehold on a 999 year lease from 1957 at a peppercorn annual rent.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: Boundaries of the wood are indicated with blue markings.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.
