Coed Glyndwr is located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park in the spectacular Mawddach valley, an area famous for its stunning coastal scenery and peace and solitude. The woodland is only a short distance from the historic market town of Dolgellau, 12 miles from the mountain-biking mecca of Coed y Brenin, and close to the extensive sandy beaches of Barmouth. This diverse woodland includes and well balanced mix of conifers (spruce, fir, pine and larch) and native broadleaf trees (oak, ash, hazel and rowan). There are areas of both young and mature trees, providing a variety of habitats for the abundant wildlife. There is good access from the A493 to a large parking area.
