Coed Hafod is an ancient semi-natural woodland with a great show of woodland flora through the seasons. The woodland contains a diverse range of wildlife and would particularly suit those interested in ecology and birdwatching.
The woodland is both quiet and easily accessible. Located just off a very minor B-road, just a mile from the village of Llansannan and within a quick drive of the A55 expressway. Located centrally between the scenic areas of the Vales of Conwy and Clwyd, on the edge of the Clwydian Range AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and also close to both the towns of Abergele and Denbigh.
The woodland has its own private gated entrance from the shared woodland track. This leads to a large flat area which would be useable for camping and a quiet glade. The track continues through this clearing and provides good access along the northern end of the wood.
The terrain is varied and much of the wood is gently sloping with a nice feel to it. There is a mix of mature deciduous trees that are dominated by larch, beech and ash, also with some lime, sycamore, holly, sweet chestnut and mature oaks.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: The northern boundary is formed by the B5382. The western and southern boundaries adjoin farmland and are fenced. The eastern boundary follows the line of an old wood bank. All boundaries are marked in blue.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.

Take the A548 out of Abergele and towards Llanrwst. Turn left onto the A544 to Llansannan. Upon reaching Llansannan, drive through the village and take the left turn on to the B5382 towards Henllan. Follow the road around a sharp left hand bend. Continue and you will soon see the woodland entrance which is on the left, very shortly followed by our "for sale" sign board. Park in the entrance and follow the tracks into the wood.
