The woodland consists primarily of fir, pine and spruce with mixed broadleaves adding a pleasing contrast to the conifers. Planted in 1959 the wood has been thinned and is now maturing.

The wood is located on the A493 some 3 miles west of Dolgellau and 1 mile from Penmaenpwll. Pull in at our gates past the first "For Sale" sign. Access is along well defined tracks from the shared parking area as located on the map below.
