Coed Rhyd - SOLD - 7¼ acres, £39,000

Coed Rhyd - SOLD

Coed Rhyd is a quiet and yet easily accessible woodland near the towns of Abergele and Denbigh.  It is located just off the B5382, a mile from the village of Llansannan and within a quick drive of the A55 expressway. The woodland is also near the scenic areas of the Vales of Conwy and Clwyd and right on the edge of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Coed Rhyd has a north-westerly aspect and is bordered on two sides by farmland and from here the wood slopes down to the road boundary. The woodland has two good access tracks. The main access track is shared as far as the gated entrance to Coed Rhyd. From the gate a private track runs the whole length of the woodland, ending in a loop that provides a vehicle turning area. The track is quite wide in places and has a useful pull-in area. The woodland also contains an interesting quarry area - just off to the right of the track as you first enter the wood.

Much of the wood is mature and the northerly half is covered by large and majestic beech trees. The woodland also contains much straight-growing ash that might interest those looking for material to practice green wood crafts.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
