Nant-y-Coed is a young woodland located near to the village of Eglwysbach, just east of the river Conwy. This very quiet and scenic part of Wales is centrally located providing easy access to the town of Conwy, the north Wales coast and the mountains of Snowdonia. The wood is easily accessed from the A55 expressway.

The wood is west-facing and is surrounded by farmland and other woodlands. It contains a mixture of young native broadleaf trees, with a few of more mature size and also a small selection of conifers. These include  hazel, rowan, oak and birch with a scattering of pine and larch.

There are two private stone surfaced access tracks, both with good sized flat areas that could be used for parking or camping. The wood also contains a small shed/cabin for storing tools or taking shelter.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

Boundaries:

The western boundary is formed partly by a minor road and then continues north where the wood adjoins farmland and is fenced. The north-eastern boundary is fenced along the edge of a small adjacent woodland. The South-eastern boundary is formed by an old track and earth bank.  All boundaries are marked in orange.
