Brantingham Dale is a well-known beauty spot and All Saints Wood is set on the western side running from the level top down the slope to the valley floor. On the slope and in the valley bottom there are vigorous, straight growing broadleaves planted about 30 years ago these are mainly ash, sycamore and cherry with a few oaks and have been well managed. On the upper levels there are ash and sycamore trees which are more mature with an understory of coppiced lime, ash and sycamore with occasional elm. On the woodland floor there are wild raspberries and plenty of dog’s mercury.
From the track at the top of the woodland there are far reaching views across the Humber estuary and beyond. All Saints wood is suitable for occasional camping and is a good site for craft working and coppicing and also a good base to exploring the nearby Wolds Way.
There is road frontage but the access is via a solid track from the lay-by (by the For Sale sign) up the valley side, along the brow and along the western boundary of All Saints Wood. There is parking just off this track.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
