Located amongst picturesque landscape with easy access Winster Fell is quiet and secluded. Once you have reached the land you will appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings. The fell is covered with rocky outcrops which are great for scrambling over and standing on to admire the view. Across the valley you will be able to see Whitbarrow a rocky high point with Hervey Nature Reserve just below. Winster Fell has a number of small streams crossing it and also has quite a rich ground flora with plenty of lichen and moss plus heather, sheep sorrel, occasional orchids, water mint and there are also a few hawthorn and birch. This fell would make a great conservation project and could also be used for occasional camping and as a base to explore the local area.
The purchasers of the meadow will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
Boundaries: These are indicated by red markings around most of the boundary and are the wall to the south, a line of stakes to the east, a fence to the west and one metre from the edge of the track to the north.
