Fearn Meadow, Stirling - 8 acres , £35,000

Fearn Meadow

Description: Fearn Meadow lies on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and has extensive breathtaking views towards the Highlands as well as the Campsie Fells to the south. The land has an interesting topography with a hollow to the east and gently rising pastures beyond to the west. A cluster of Alders or "Fearns" are situated either side of the water issuing through the hollow and bisecting the middle of the land. The field could serve for grazing livestock or equestrian use, or present an opportunity for some planting of native tree species. Nearby are the Queen Elizabeth Forest Parks around Aberfoyle, the Lake of Monteith and the picturesque villages of Gartmore, Buchlyvie, Drymen, Balfron and Balmaha.

Access:   Access is via a hard stone shared private track leading off the A81 over which there is a legal all-purpose vehicular right of access, shown green on the plans. There is a ford crossing over the Pundy Burn as annotated on the map. Neighbouring Pundyburn Wood & Meadow has a right of access over the northern access track included with Fearn Meadow.

Sporting Rights: are included.

Mineral Rights: These are owned and included with the land except where reserved by statute.

Fencing and wayleaves etc:  As with most fencing in Scotland maintenance of the boundary fences is shared equally except for the line running north west boundary where responsibility is with this land;   there is a small water pipe across the land for supplying the neighbours from which water can be taken by agreement; electricity supply could be taken from the small overhead lines crossing the land. Any stables etc should be located out of sight of the neighbouring houses.
