Milburn Wood is situated in the middle and northern half of Ardencaple Wood and is surrounded by woodland on all sides. Internal access and parking is taken from a private shared access track along its southern boundary and continues on a hard path up through majestic fir rides and fauna rich glades. A very bonny burn flows along the eastern boundary and a further small burn crosses the northwestern corner. These water features together with an old stone borrow pit and hedge remnants along the west boundary provide lots of scope for amenity and hobby use. There are ancient tree remnants within the wood to the east and neighbouring the wood to the west. A commercial conifer plantation called Highlandmans Wood borders it to the North. Various water features in the way of trickling and flowing burns are spread throughout. The neighbouring open fields, verges and nearby woodlands provide ideal habitat for various wildlife including sparrow hawk, owl, roe deer, buzzard, woodcock, pheasant and kestrel which are often spotted visting Ardencaple Woods.

Surrounding Area:  Nearby Rhu and Helensburgh are both charming places to visit or stay. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are within an hour's drive.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
