Although Bolt Meadow is classified as a wetland meadow within the flood plain of the River Arun, it is extensively protected by a grassy embankment. Included in the meadow is river creek frontage, ultimately leading onto the River Arun, with fishing rights and boating potential. There are fine views of farmland stretching away to the the south, and it is only a short journey of about 3 miles to the RSPB Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve, providing refuge to thousands of ducks, geese, swans and wading birds.
The owner of Bolt Meadow will have vehicle and other rights of way along the embankment tracks shown in green on the map.
The purchasers of the meadow will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
