Directions

Go south along the A21, bypassing Lamberhurst, and you will come to a left turn signposted to Kilndown. Turn left here into Church Road and after ˝ mile fork right into Chicks Lane and then fork right again onto Rogers Rough Road. The entrance to the wood is about Ľ mile on the right, with a "Woodlands for Sale" sign set back, but visible, from the road. Park safely by the road and walk up the track (please do not park on or alongside the track to the gate). Climb over the gate and walk 300 metres up the gently rising stoned forest track and you will find Dovetail Wood on the left-hand side.
