Tower Wood, previously part of the Laughton Estate, is a quiet and peaceful wood tucked away near the small village of Laughton. You will find oak, ash, willow, holly, sycamore, hazel and chestnut coppice here. Although this is quite a dense wood in places, there are other areas where it is possible to walk relatively easily amongst the trees. Where the north boundary lies alongside the Green Lane we have cleared a short vehicle track into the wood. Some additional small clearings could easily be created here.
The Green Lane alongside Tower Wood is a public right of way and as well as providing vehicle access at all times to the owner of Tower Wood. It also is an excellent safe walking or cycling forest track right through to Whitesmith.
Note:-The postcode BN8 6BU is shown on the map as a red dot. If using satnav follow until the ‘five ways’ then, as above, take the left hand concrete track (at 4 o’clock)
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.

· Going south on the A22, at Halland turn right onto the B2192.
· After about 1 ¼ miles, turn left into Shortgate Lane, signposted to Laughton and Ripe. If you pass the Bluebell Inn on your left you have just missed the turning.
· Go about ¾ mile down Shortgate Lane and you will get to a Five Way junction. Take the 2nd turning left into a ‘greenlane’, which goes south east and is a concrete track.
· Park where the concrete ends. Please don’t block the lane or field gate.
· Walk down the ‘greenlane’ for about 200 meters and you will first reach a ‘Woodlands for Sale’ sign on your left.
· Walk a further 120 meters along the greenlane to the first small wooden footbridge. This is the start of Tower Wood on your right.
