Directions

Travelling south on the A22 and just north of Uckfield take the A 272 going east to Heathfield.
On the A 272 go through Buxted and at the top of the village turn right into a lane signposted to Framfield.
After about 1/3 mile and take a left fork signposted to Framfield.
After about ¾ mile go past a turning on your right signposted to Buxted.
Keep going straight along Shepherds Hill for a further 60 metres, and you will reach a red steel single bar forest gate on your left, with a ‘Woodlands for Sale’ sign.
Park alongside this gate but please do not block it or the lane. There is some space to park about 50 metres further up the lane on the left by the stream bridge.
This single bar forest gate is the entrance to the wood at point A. Go round the gate and walk up the track for about 400 metres and Upper Bish Wood is on your right.
