Coed Blaen-cwm - SOLD, Carmarthenshire - About 10½ acres, £45,000

Coed Blaen-cwm - SOLD

Coed Blaen-cwm is a magnificent woodland of Norway Spruce and Red Cedar, on the South East side of a hill just outside the village of Cwmduad.   A good hard track leads up through the neighbouring woodland all the way right to the end of Coed Blaen-cwm.  This is a steep,  dramatic woodland which feels private and peaceful. The river Duad runs at the bottom of the valley and makes up part of the woodland boundary.  There is evidence of an old track along the bottom boundary and some splendid broadleaf trees and a scattering of Bluebells in the Spring.

The surrounding area is heavily wooded; this is a picturesque part of the country with plenty of wildlife living in the woodland.  Buzzards are a common site in the sky above and have been seen nesting in the trees.

Coed Blaen-cwm lies on the edge of the village of Cwmduad,  a couple of miles from Cynwyl Elfed,  an area rich in history.  Carmarthen and the M4 are very easy to reach from here.
