Set in a stunning, quiet valley surrounded by rolling countryside this hillside wood has a tranquil feel. It includes mature conifers but much more besides - areas of broadleaf (including ash, hawthorn, oak and hazel). The wood is bounded on two sides by open meadows which bring dappled light into the woodland. In Spring the woodland floor is carpeted with bluebells, some magnificent ferns and lots of wild flowers, not all of which we recognised. There are also many song birds, buzzards and evidence of badger and owl activity. Access is very good and is along a surfaced track as shown on the plan and a pretty path branches off, winding up towards the top of the woodland, giving fine views across the valley.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

Directions
Take the A40 from Carmarthen, heading for St Clears, for approximately 3 miles at which point you will see a right hand turn signposted for Meidrim on the B4298. A few hundred yards after that turn, you will see another right hand turn, still sign posted to Meidrim, on the B4298, take this road for about 2 1/2 miles. Ignore the first right hand turn, but take the second right hand turn, just before a white house on the left hand side of the road on the brow of a hill. Once you have turned off, travel along the small country lane for about half a mile. You will pass Bwlch Farm on your left and the wood is a few hundred yards further along on the right. There is a "Woodlands for Sale" sign there and you can park in front of the locked gate. Walk along the stone track and you will find the wood on your right.
