Coed Cych is a diverse woodland with a good mix of trees of varying ages, including oak, larch, spruce and silver birch. It is situated in the Cych Valley, an enchanted area rich in myths and history, which features strongly in The Mabinogion ( a collection of prose stories from medieval Welsh manuscripts). There are fine views across this peaceful river valley and a good track winds its way through the woodland. There is a variety of wild flowers in Spring and Summer and many varieties of mosses and lichens. Many birds have been spotted here, including Tree Creepers, Red Kites and Woodpeckers.
There is a country pub, The Fox and Hounds, only a stone's throw away. The towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan are close by, as is Cardigan Bay, a beautiful area of the Welsh coast.
The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

From Newcastle Emlyn take the A484 towards Cenarth. At Cenarth take the left turn just after the Three Horseshoes pub, signposted B4332. Follow this winding road for a few miles, and take the left turn just before the steep hill to the village of Abercych. This turning is just over the bridge and you will see a yellow pub, The Nags Head, on the corner of this turning. Follow this road along until you come to the pub The Fox and Hounds - here look out for the next left turn. Take this left and you will see the entrance track and the WOODLANDS FOR SALE sign a few metres down the lane on the right. You can park your car in front of the gate and the woodland is up the track and to the right.
