You are here: Home > Buying a Wood > West and South Wales > Coed Hirfain - Herfain Wood
This is young woodland with a rich mixture of habitats. Of special interest is the small River Hirfain which runs next to the wood. Despite some marshy and boggy areas, there is a mixture of young trees including birch, oak, conifers and holly. There is an obligation to ensure that the woodland regrows, so an owner may need to do some replanting or make sure the "natural regeneration" is satisfactory. The Hirfain forms the eastern boundary which would be a great area to create a pond in and encourage new wildlife.
Boundaries: Boundaries of the wood are indicated with purple markings.
You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself - please take these sales details with you, and do remember to check that it is still available. If you have seen the woodland and wish to be accompanied on a second more detailed visit please contact our local manager.
