Coed Tyn-y-Corn, Ceredigion - Just over 39½ acres, £65,000

Coed Tyn-y-Corn

Coed Tyn-Y-Corn is a mature Conifer woodland situated on a hillside. The gradient varies from a gentle slope to some very steep parts on the Western side with plenty of flatter areas throughout. A track runs the length of the woodland with evidence of other old footpaths throughout, with mixed Broadleaf trees marking the old boundaries. Several small springs and seasonal brooks run through Coed Tyn-Y-Corn creating diverse wildlife habitats and woodland flora.  Much of the surrounding area is peaty heathland with heathers and Bilberries. Red Kites and Buzzards are a common sight and Red Squirrels have been reported in this area.

Access is from a quiet country lane, down a  track and over a ford, so Coed Tyn-Y-Corn feels very private and timeless, tucked away amidst the hill farms in a very beautiful part of Wales.  Being on a hill, there are stunning views of the countryside across the moorland.  At least one waterfall is visible from the woodland itself, with two streams cascading down the adjoining boundaries. Much of the surrounding area is open access so there is plenty of opportunity for walking and exploring the area

The university town of Lampeter is only a few miles away with a variety of shops and cafes.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
