Who would have thought a spare of the moment video we recorded over 5 years ago on a crappy Sony Ericsson phone camera would spark so much debate. to be honest if we did this all over again there would be some differences.. for instance.. i wouldn’t strike that bloody fire steel with the sharp edge of the knife
twas for demonstration purposes you see.. haha.. also i would have included our First Aid Kit too which was in my bag.

1. Which brand is the bivi sac? 2. loose the 58 pattern water bottle & switch to the American version, you loose about 200ml of fluid but the slim design is better. 3. the hexi stove is the bomb! Ive tried several different methods to start fires- chemicals are best. 4. Econmy aside- go with a Ray Mears style Parang

1- The Bivi is standard british army issue, the best one available in my opinion. About £25-£30 on ebay.
2 – The Brittish army bottle will always win against the american design as its just better made, no leaks and the 200ml extra can sometimes be essential.
3 – Yes your right, the hexi is awesome!! : )
4 – The parang Ray uses is no doubt awsome, but there’s loads of designs out there, as long as it has a razor edge its not too important on which celebrity uses it ; )
