This is not a farmer’s wife – these are townies who eat frozen pre-packed foods, and couldn’t actually kill anything, but would rather starve.
This gives such a bad impression of us Brits. I have never eaten squirrel but they are a nuisance (although cute) and probably taste like rabbit (which OMG have fur too!) nice try but sad for Farmer’s weekly!

Pass a torch over the little buggers after you skin them to remove hair. Same thing when you process your own deer, a little torch action does the trick, also try pressure canning squirrel, they come out tender and tasty.

Farmers around here are too busy making money from industrial type farming, the villagers are too stuck up to do sweet f.a which involves any effort or self sufficiency so that leaves the rabbits and squirrels to ME !

Squirrel meat is really tasty. I eat them often along with lots of roadkill mammals.
