in denmark we call the square knot a “robondsknob” normal people call it a double knot

I’m in agreement that the square/reef knot is not very useful. It’s easy to remember, sure, but that just tempts you to use it for everything. It slips when you need it to hold, and it binds when you need to untie it.

Well, as a matter a fact, thew video was surprisingly informing, but at the other hyand side, you should consider tying the taut line hitch with a loop, that makes it quick release
