Using a chainsaw to make planks in a woodland ~ by alaskanmilluk

Slow connection? Watch in lower quality

This is a way of cutting planks in your woodland using a chasinsaw with a small bit of extra kit. The small log mill work for chainsaws with bars of 20″ or less. It clamps direct to the bar with no drilling and enables you to saw planks straight off the log.

It looked a bit too flimsy for me and the weight distribution could have been better. Do you have an option where the blade is clamped at both ends to your guide accessory? This would give a more uniform plank thickness and I imagine would allow you to have wider boards with the longer blades.
