Kea Wood - SOLD, Cornwall - About 2 ¾ acres, £29,000

Kea Wood - SOLD
Kea Wood - SOLD
Cornwall

Tucked away in rural countryside near the north Cornish coast, Kea Wood is a level woodland with good access for campervans.

Kea Wood is set just within the magical county of Cornwall and benefits from a great location a few miles from the north Cornish coastline, ideal to explore the coastal town of Bude where there are stunning beaches such as Summerleaze and Crooklets.

Excellent access is from a quite country lane, behind a secure locked gate there is a large stoned parking and plenty of space to stack timber or park a camper van. Kea Wood is predominantly fast growing spruce trees, the dense foliage provides privacy whilst the timber can be harvested in the future or used for small scale forestry projects.

The previous owner has started to make some clearings and has begun planting mixed broadleaved trees including oak and cherry. A poly-tunnel within the woodland has been used to propagate the broadleaved trees from seed.

Kea Wood has old hedge banks to the south and along the other side of the shared access track. This provides both additional privacy and shelter from inclement weather. These hedge banks were inspirational in the naming of the wood as kea is from the old Cornish name 'Kea' meaning enclosure or hedge.

The wood is set among further areas of private woodland and farmland. Located only a mile or so from the village of Kilkhampton, from where much of what north Cornwall has to offer is easily accessible. The woodland has a very peaceful and secluded feel to it.

Particulars and plans were prepared by our local manager, Stuart Brooking.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
