The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way. Perhaps the ultimate post Covid remedy.

Local area and history

The area has been an idyllic representation of rural England. Small hamlets and villages surrounded by open countryside. The clergyman and ecologist from who this woodland derived its name is Adrian Woodruffe-Peacock who made his living here from 1891 onwards, the very rural and sparsely populated parish proving useful in his development as an ecologist. Not much has changed in the parish over the last century and it is still possible to immerse yourself in the rural enclave.
