Corvedale Wood - SOLD, Shropshire - Over 7 acres, £65,000

Corvedale Wood - SOLD
Corvedale Wood - SOLD
Shropshire

A mature flat woodland situated near the market towns of Bridgnorth and Iron bridge.

Corvedale Wood is predominantly a conifer woodland with larch being the dominant species. The larch is an impressive sight due to how tall and mature they are. There are a number of other tree species of trees which diversifies the woodland, including oak, beech, hazel, Scots pine, ash, sycamore and holly.

From the main entrance, there is a track that meanders through adjoining woodland until it reaches Corvedale Wood. The last section of track before reaching the wood would require a four-wheel drive vehicle as there is a short section of a hill to climb before reaching the woodland.

The woodland is flat with good access to all areas. In previous years the woodland has been managed well and the evidence of this can be seen with the impressive quality of the large trees that grow here.

The woodland is very private and secluded, situated in the heart of the southern Shropshire countryside.

Due to its remoteness, there is a good variety of wildlife that visit the woodland and surrounding areas, some of which include Badger, fox, deer, buzzard and many song birds.

There is a natural clearing circled by mature trees which has a bench for sitting and taking in the surroundings, and taking a moment to reflect on the feel of the area. This area could be utilised as a camping area and central base for conducting woodland activities and management. There is a car parking area for this wood, with a cleared path leading to this clearing.

Nearby there are lots of interesting places to visit, including Bridgnorth, Iron bridge, which has many museums, pubs and restaurants that front onto the River Severn, and of course the famous bridge itself.

Much Wenlock is also close by, which is very picturesque with good shops and local pubs. There is a particularly good butchers shop here, called A Ryan & son.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
