Moving logs by trailer bike ~ by mikepepler

Slow connection? Watch in lower quality

Mike Pepler demonstrates how to move firewood using a trailer bike.  His bicycle has some battery power which helps with hills and he can carry 50kg of logs from his woodland using this trailer and bike.

I like the trailer you got there Mike (wish I had one of those) what a great exercise to build quad muscles too :P

I've just hitched it up to my non-electric bike, and am going to try hauling logs back from the woods this summer for exercise! Not sure how I'll get on with the hills…

Do you still use this on UK roads? Very useful but wonder how bad car drivers would deal with it.

+John Derry I found it was OK, it makes you look like a much wider vehicle, so cars leave more room when passing. You're meant to have an orange warning triangle on the back.
