I think you did the tree justice, looks great.
I enjoy finding the odd wood grains like when I saw some spalted plywood at the big box store.
As soon as I saw it the wood practically jumped off the shelf into my cart and told me what it wanted to be.
I didn't have a project in mind at the time but as soon as I saw it I knew what to make from it.
It became game boards as gifts for my relatives and they cherished them.
A quality hand made gift is a treasure much better than store bought.

Both my sisters still have the first things I gave them that I made in shop classes at school in 1967.
When I recently gave my older sister a hand turned segmented wood bowl she put it in her display case along side the others I had made for her over the years.
My younger sister gave her gift a big long hug with teary eyes.
I hit a home run with that as it took her back in time to an age of innocence when we were all together as family. That was my goal which I exceeded beyond my expectation.

Good video and machine. However, it seems a pity that manufacturers of horizontal bandsaws and circular sawmills have no obvious attachments for dust capture. As well as the obvious mess which needs tidying up eventually, the dust is meantime being ingested, permanently.

Those are some thick boards! They are a biotch to dry. Great looking grain, that's for sure. Reminds me of the Sycamore trees that grow here in the States. Great vid! Thanks for posting.
