The word was meant for ridicule and shame. That was the intention of it.
Bung em in a wood chipper instead. You can just stack them in a heap. Throw some lime on the heap so your neighbors don't smell it and call the police though.
Everyone knows you store them in the closet, duh.
So in 1400s when the word originated, for the method shown above, it was used for shame and ridicule? It is you types that take offense at everything that are making the world inhospitable.
