Armada Wood is a small, young woodland, planted on former agricultural land, and predominantly coniferous, which is accessible and located close to the scenic north coast and Antrim glens. It has great potential for a base from which to explore all the area has to offer, as well as offering the keen amateur forester the chance to develop the crop of young trees into a fine stand through careful thinning and high pruning, and perhaps produce their own firewood and timber.
