SOLD: Chetwynd Wood £85,000 Freehold

Description

Chetwynd Wood is a level broadleaf woodland located in the heart of Shropshire’s countryside.

At the entrance to the woodland there is a gate which opens to a shared hard standing parking bay. Once in the parking area there will be a gate to your left and right, the gate into Chetwynd Wood will be on your right.

The woodland is very open with well-spaced trees, thus enabling plenty of ground vegetation and light within the woodland. From the gate there is a recently brush cut path which leads to a handmade bench to use either as you prepare to walk around the woodland or to catch your breath on your return.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

Trees

Some of the trees found here are silver birch, hazel, sycamore, oak, ash, rowan and beech.

Wildlife

Some of the wildlife seen in this woodland include deer, foxes, rabbits, badgers as well as many songbirds, and owls nesting nearby. There is also a very large hare that may be seen, which is known to visit the adjacent woodland almost every day.

Access, tracks and footpaths

There are no vehicle tracks within the woodland. There is a parking area that is shared with one other woodland, Whitleyford Wood (which is also for sale).

Activities

The wood is flat and easily accessible throughout, so the possibilities are endless!
