Back2Basics Cornwall is extremely passionate about the outdoors, providing educational based opportunities for people from all walks of life. Developed to help raise awareness of the techniques used by our ancestors: A very unique solution for those looking to get hands on experience, training and opportunity’s in an affordable low cost, low impact environment. A series of upcoming projects in 2012 will form the basis of the projects, all our own produce is grown locally at our allotment project. Wilderness Experiences: 1 day Introductory Bushcraft & Survival Fundamentals: 8:oo – 17:00 At Back2Basics Our 1 day Introductory Bushcraft & Survival Fundamentals course is aimed at those who want to learn how to live more comfortably in the wild, but do not have the time available for an overnight camp or weekend away. The introduction to Bushcraft Cover’s the four main principles of survival: •	Fire, •	Food, •	Shelter and •	water. Other one day opportunities: •	Pioneering •	Orienteering / Navigation •	Camp Craft; Carving •	First Aid •	First Aid & Rescue •	Willow basket weaving •	Wood Crafts & more… 2 day Introductory Bushcraft & Survival Fundamentals Friday evening arrival 19:00 finishing Sunday around 17:00 At Back2Basics Our 2 day Introductory Bushcraft & Survival Fundamentals course is aimed at those who want to learn how to live more comfortably in the wild and build the basic skills to ensure 100% survival. •	making shelters using both man-made and natural materials •	discovering various methods of fire-making •	management of fire •	cooking over a fire •	putting out a fire and leaving no trace •	learning about many useful trees and plants around us •	an introduction to navigation and tracking •	how and what to pack for a week of bushcraft in the UK Other Opportunities: •	4 Day Bushcraft & survival (Progression) •	Week Long intermediate Bushcraft and survival. Other areas we would like to consider in the future : •	Straw building / thatching small scale shelters. •	Scything •	Foundations •	Cob building •	Rammed earth building
