Yup, you got to trap them up. Too many of them.

Can show you some examples of what some human races can do to the native English/European culture…..would it be convincing too? Indeed, like this short movie stats…in the 1930s it was a view of some people to on others.
Squirrels simply don't fit in the view of some humans on how nature looks like. But nature itself, clearly, has no problem with them. Xenophobia. Started by scientists. Warfarin…the Squirrel Zyklon B. Read up what happens to these animals. Vermin…..like Jews. Incredible.

A few years ago, I heard on the news that the govt. had sacked the only 2 official grey squirrel hunters on its payroll. The number of grey squirrels they had killed was given, as was the number remaining. They had been in their jobs for 20 years. I worked out that if the government had employed 20 men instead of just 2, they would have removed the grey squirrel from the UK by now! THEY SHOULD HAVE!

People shd b allowed t shoot m again, even for 20p a tail from the govt. Licence m, make sure they know they can't shoot anything except grey squirrels, n stop all hunting again when the grey squirrels have gone. Simple! I love animals n nature, but u gave t b practical.

People are allowed to shoot them.

If an ordinary air rifle is being used a license is not even required. Provided you abide by the UK law regarding airguns and act responsibly you can shoot grey squirrels. For the adventurous they are also edible. I don't think you can get any money for squirrel tails nowadays though.

(Johnny Horton – they ran so fast the hounds couldn't catch em check out the song for your history) Your aging woods (twigs?) need this reinvigoration from america !! Like Winnie & Lady Astor !! OUR "Feldgrau SS (grey Super Squirrel) will do what our "crayfish" will do for your streams!! If NOT then I have 2 raccoons (m&f) and a FedEx schedule (skedule!) You have been Warned!

Thx, that was really informative, We are shortly starting a grey squirrel trap and shoot project locally to hopefully reduce the grey squirrel population and then in about 10yrs reintroduce Red squirrels back into the midlands.
