Restoring an Arboretum

Slow connection? Watch in lower quality
We hear from Rebecca Cork who is heading up a conservation project to restore a historically and culturally rich arboretum for community use. The arboretum was first designed and planted in the 19th century and enjoys over 300 rare and champion trees - including one of the most varied collections of oaks in the UK. With the fantastic support of volunteers, woodland experts and local historians, Bec is keen to learn from this unusual ecosystem - allowing the environment to guide the renovation process. http://tortwortharboretum.org An Adliberate film http://www.adliberate.co.uk for WoodlandsTV http://www.woodlands.co.uk/tv
